Water Audit

In the era of consumerism water is a scarce natural resource with a very high strategic importance to business, agriculture and community, which makes water conservation very vital.

A water audit, similar to an energy audit, is the method of quantifying all the flows of water in a system to understand its usage, reduce losses and improve water conservation.

  1. Water Balance & Consumption Analysis
  2. Optimization through Reduce, Recycle, Reuse & Rain water harvesting
  3. Evaluation of Actual water consumption of facility in various areas with water balance diagram in each sub area.
  4. Where flow measurement is not possible, the same shall be calculated using standard equations (with proper reference) / normal acceptable audit tools, etc.
  5. Losses if any from various systems viz. reservoir evaporation loss Shall be calculated using standard formulae / equations.
  6. We conduct Field survey along-with site representative(s) for identification of leakages / optimization of water in each category of water & prepare a defect list. Quantities of such leakages etc. shall be estimated.
  7. At various consumption levels, deviations from design / standard shall be worked out.
  8. We suggest various water conservation measures along with know-how of some latest technologies to reduce water consumption etc. with a tentative cost implication & breakeven period.
